Quiet Riot



Quiet Riot is an American band, formed in 1973 by two members of band's original line-up: guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni under the name Mach 1. They finally changed their name in 1975 on Quiet Riot. At this time two people joined them: lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth. The most iconic member of the group was guitarist Rhoads due to his excellent skills so that the group was mora and more recognized. The band for the first time suspended their activity in 1982 after tragic death of Randy Rhoads. The band was heading to a festival in Orlando and they decided to stopped and take a rest. Without permission their bus driver took a small plane and took to the air with Rhoads. They were flying so low that they finally hit the bus and Rhoads heads to crash through the plane's windshield. It was later revealed after autopsy that bus driver was under influence of cocaine. They released 12 studio albums, the last one in 2014. Their greatest album is Metal Health from 1983. Their second suspend of activity was in 2007 when vocalist DuBrow died of a cocaine overdose. They reunited in 2010 and they are still performing.

Stryper



Stryper is an American band from California. They were first Christian band to gain acceptance in the mainstream. They focus on giving messages through their songs lyrics as well as the dedication to Christianity. Band's name derives from the Bible and accroding to the group, its backronym to "salvation through redemption, yielding peace, encouragement and righteousness". Their classic lineup included Michael Sweet (vocal), Robert Sweet (drums), Tim Gaines (bass guitar) and Oz Fox (rhythm guitar) which has changed only once when Tracy Ferrie had to replace Gaines due to his performs with other bands. They broke-up in 1993, when the decided to go their own ways, only to return in 2003 to record tracks for a new greatest hits compilation (contained two new songs). Their third studio album named The Hell with the Devil was nominated to Grammy Award. At this moment they are still performing and their eleventh album was released on October, 2015.

Mötley Crüe



Mötley Crüe was an American band formed in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee. Later they were joined by guitarist Mick Mars, and vocalist Vince Neil and that was their permanent group for nearly entire career. The band members were well known for their outrageous clothing, extreme high-heeled boots and heavily applied make-up. During their 30 year career they released 9 albums. In 1992 Vince Neil left band to start a solo career and he was replaced by John Corabi. Neil released two albums and few singles but finally he reunited with Mötley Crüe in 1997. Also Tommy Lee left band for few years but in 2004 all of the original members got together and went on tour. In their career they released many excellent songs and they are considered as one of the greatest group of 80s and 90s. In 2015 they announced their last tour and eventually they performed for the very last time at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 31, 2015.

Great White



Great White is an American band, formed in 1977 but gained popularity in 80s and 90s. Group was made by guitarist Mark Kendall and vocalist Jack Russell. They were performing as Highway, Livewires and finally - Wires. At this time, in 1979 Kendall was sentenced to 8 years in prison for shooting a maid in robbery attempt. In 1982 after Kendall's earlier release from prison they formed a band with Lorne Black (bass guitar) and Audie Desbrow (drums, since 1985). Two years later they released first album called Great White which gave us the heaviest band's sound. Their most successful singles are Once Bitten, Twice Shy, Save Your Love and Rock Me. In 2003 they were performing in Rhode Island when The Station nightclub fire consumed 100 people, including band guitarist Ty Longley. They had almost twenty changes in members of group until 2011 when Jack Russell decided to made his separate band called Jack Russell's Great White and he left Great White. The two groups are performing until now.

Poison was formed in 1980 in USA and consisted of lead vocalist Bret Michaels, guitarist Matt Smith, bassist Bobby Dall and drummer Rikki Rockett. In 1985 Matt Smith, who was about to become father, left band. Less than a year later Smith was replaced by C.C. DeVille thereby forming a permanent group. In 1991 at the MTV Video Music Awards DeVille's terrible performance provoked a backstage fistfight between him and Michaels. Due to guitarist drug addiction and conflict with leader, he was fired to return after a five years absence. Despite these problems Poison is really successful band. They released seven studio albums, four live albums and five compilation albums. In 2011 Poison had summer tour with Mötley Crüe and New York Dolls to celebrate Poison's 25th anniversary and Mötley Crüe's 30th Anniversary named the Glam-A-Geddon.

Van Halen

Van Halen was formed in California in 1972 by two brothers Edward and Alex Van Halen. During their best years band contained also lead vocal - David Lee Roth and bassist Michael Anthony. They released twelve albums but the most successful was 1984 with lead single Jump which is the most recognizable song of this band. The following two singles were Panama and I'll Wait also from album 1984. What's interesting Eddie Van Halen was one of the greatest guitarist ever and in Rolling Stones TOP 100 Guitarist he took 8th place. In 2006 leader replaced Michael Anthony with Wolfgang Van Halen (who get his name in homage to classical composer Mozart) his own son from marriage with actress Valerie Bertinelli. 31 March 2015 they released a live album Tokyo Dome Live in Concert two months earlier Van Halen announced they 39 tour date from July to October 2015 across North America. After that they will probably start making new studio album so despite of their age they still remain active to the delight of their fans.

Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 by guitarist Erik Turner the other members were Jerry Dixon (bass guitar), Steven Sweet (drums), Joey Allen (guitar) and Jani Lane (lead vocal). Their greatest success are years from 1989 to 1996 when they released their first studio album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. Album contains one of their best single - Heaven which was considered as most commercially successful song of the band. They released nine albums, the last one in 2006 and 2011. Their second album Cherry Pie also gained great rating especially due to title track and Uncle's Tom Cabin. Best known member of group - Jani Lane unfortunately died in 2011, he was found in hotel room. He died of alcohol poisoning in age of 47. Although leader vocalist death the rest of members found another singer Robert Mason and they performing until now.
