Memories

Hi Everyone! While I was working on those posts I had a flashback from the concert on which I was in July. On July 9 in Poland, I had the pleasure of being at a rock concert for the first time! The star was Guns'n'Roses group (no need to introduce them). I must admit that despite their age (aroundthe age of 55), they gave us an amazing performance. It's true that I wasn't in the pit, but the view of jumping and singing fans, holding the flashlights during "November Rain" - beyond words! But enough of this because the main purpose of this post is to encourage you, music fans to go to a concert because it is really worth it. After I took part in this event I can say that listening to a music at home and at a concert are two completely different experiences. I know that prices are often not the greatest, but if you have the opportunity, JUST GO!

Fleetwood Mac

I want to start with a band that I personally adore. I heard some of their songs before, but only a few months ago I immersed into their discography and it was a bull's eye! Fleetwood Mac, because that's the band I have in mind, really fits my taste and I can listen to them for hours.
Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967. Yes, that's right, they still exist and perform, although the line-up has changed a few times over the past 50 years. We can say without hesitation that their most famous members are: Mick Fleetwood (the drummer and co-founder of the band), John McVie (bass guitarist), Christine McVie (vocalist and a keyboard player), Stevie Nicks (vocalist) and Lindsey Buckingham (guitarist and vocalist). It was announced in 2018 that Lindsey Buckingham left the band. The reason was said to have been a disagreement about the nature of touring and the list of performed songs. At the moment, they are on their concert tour called An Evening with Fleetwood Mac until September 2019.

Return!

Hello Everyone! After a two-year break I'm back and I'm ready to show you some more bands that I recommend. As you know, I focus on groups that not necessarily everyone knows by name, but that's the point! I don't want to be monotonous and boring. 😉  So, to make up for this break, I will try to write a few posts before the weekend. I hope I will succeed 😃 Get ready for some new information!

Take care!

Faster Pussycat

Faster Pussycat is an American band, formed in 1985. The name of the band, is derived from the film "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!". It was founded by vocalist Taime Downe who made his group with bassist Kelly Nickels (who after few years was replaced by Eric Stacy), drummer Mark Michals, guitarists Greg Steele and Brent Muscat. Initially, in the United States the band toured with Alice Cooper, David Lee Roth, and Motörhead in support. Before their break up in 1993, they released three studio albums and the two of them "Faster Pussycat" and "Wake Me When It's Over" were really well received by critics. When they broke up, all members went their separate ways into various projects.  Finally in 2001 the band reunited but with only Downe from original line-up. Additionally they changed their music style to industrial rock which does not concern us.

Slaughter

Slaughter is an American band formed in Las Vegas in late 1988. It was made by lead vocalist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum from the ashes of their previous band "Vinnie Vincent Invasion".
By 1989 they completed the lineup by recruiting lead guitarist Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias. Unfortunately in 1998 Kelly was replaced by Jeff "Blando" Bland due to his tragic death in car accident (his vehicle was hit by a truck driven by driver who was under the influence of at least three different drugs). Their debut (and almost the best) album Stick It to Ya from 1990 including three most recognizable singles: Fly to the Angels, Up All Night and Spend My Life. Then they released four more albums each one in '90 and really good accepted by fans. In 2001 they was a part of "Voice of Metal" tour featuring three other hard rock groups. They are still performing but they are making less concerts than performances in many different events.
