Kix

Podobny obraz

Kix is an American band formed in 1977 by Ronnie Younkins (guitar), Brian Forsythe (guitar) and Donnie Purnell (bass). A year later they were joined by vocalist Steve Whiteman. That will be Kix best line-up with only crucial change of bassist Purnell to Jimmy Chalfant. In 1981 they released their first, self-titled debut album which instantly became a concert favorite with singles like "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" or "Heartache". Kix partnered up with Ratt and Warrant producer Beau Hill and released Midnite Dynamite—their "self-proclaimed favorite record ever". Their greatest success was until 1995, containing the power ballad "Don't Close Your Eyes" with anti-suicide lyrics. The group broke up in 1995 only to reunited in 2003 with totally original line-up. They released six albums before their disintegration and one in 2014.
