Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot is an American band, formed in 1973 by two members of band's original line-up: guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni under the name Mach 1. They finally changed their name in 1975 on Quiet Riot. At this time two people joined them: lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth. The most iconic member of the group was guitarist Rhoads due to his excellent skills so that the group was mora and more recognized. The band for the first time suspended their activity in 1982 after tragic death of Randy Rhoads. The band was heading to a festival in Orlando and they decided to stopped and take a rest. Without permission their bus driver took a small plane and took to the air with Rhoads. They were flying so low that they finally hit the bus and Rhoads heads to crash through the plane's windshield. It was later revealed after autopsy that bus driver was under influence of cocaine. They released 12 studio albums, the last one in 2014. Their greatest album is Metal Health from 1983. Their second suspend of activity was in 2007 when vocalist DuBrow died of a cocaine overdose. They reunited in 2010 and they are still performing.
